East Jakarta Transportation Sub-department (Sudinhub) reopens U-turn in front of ex-Buaran Station, Duren Sawit to unravel congestion on Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai.

East Jakarta Sudinhub's Traffic Section Head, Andreas Eman mentioned, Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai gets stuck due to the closure of Cakung Station's JPL 66 railway crossing.

"Based on coordination meeting at city level, we decide to reopen U-turn near ex-Buaran Station. We hope it can unravel the congestion optimally," he explained, Saturday (6/15).

U-turn is only applied for road users from east who want to take a turn. While road users from west side can't use this U-turn.

"Vehicles from west can use U-turn under Pondok Kopi Flyover," he added.

8 personnel from East Jakarta Sudinhub and Duren Sawit Satpol PP are deployed to control traffic flow around this U-turn.
